Unexplained “Other” Amazon Fees Increasing Daily
I’ve noticed a problem in my account and I’m hoping someone can help explain it.
In my settlement report, the “Other” fees category shows a large deduction (currently –$1,323.15) and the amount keeps increasing every day. However, when I go to “View All Transactions” there are no transactions listed under “Other.”
My subscription fee is clear (–$39.99), but I cannot figure out where the “Other” deduction is coming from or why it’s growing.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does Amazon provide a breakdown for “Other” fees somewhere, or is this possibly an error in the reporting system?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Guys - No idea if this is it - but on ASGTG forums, everyone is saying that it's Customers "Free Return Label" miscalculations being corrected.
Example. Seller ships customer a 5lb package, customer opens a return - Amazon gives them a prep-paid label for a 1# item. Amazon collects the extra postage from seller months later.

I have been in the business world since the mid 90's. I have never seen a worse accounting system than what Amazon uses. No other company charges you and list it as "others". No explanation. No description. Nothing! This is the most SHADY thing about Amazon. They have intentionality set it up this way. It appears from the outside, that every now and then, they will charge you $2-3 (which is normal for us) and hope that since it is such a small amount you won't waste you time trying to figure out what is for. SHAAAAADDDYYYY!!!!
And don't get me started trying to figure out what they actually paid you for. Once again they intentionality made it almost impossible to find out. It's like they tell you "Here's your balance, here's your reserve, and here's you some money for your disbursement. We really don't know why that amount, but we're not going to tell you even if we did."
Why can't they give us a "easy-to-read" invoice every month?
Here's what you sold $xxxxx
Here's what your shipping is $xxxxx
This is what we paid you for- (description)
This would be WAY beyond Amazon's comprehension of what a business or seller would want!

Did you find out what happened? Same thing happened to me today. I had pending funds, and now I have negative balance.

Yes, I got hit with the Other fees this morning, $only $33.98, and my transaction report also shows the $39.99 was taken out as well. I could not find what this is for, and filed a case with Amazon to see exactly WHAT is Other fees. I do not show any chargebacks, no AtoZ filings, nothing that would result in this large charge. I'm waiting to hear back from whoever answers the case filings and hopefully they can explain, unless a robot is in charge of this too.

"Other" charges as a misc category is fine - UNTIL THEY CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED - there is no transaction, no description, nothing.
It's amazing a trillion dollar company can't be better about this.

Hello @Seller_tjEFut1sYItOY @Seller_gMmBMSBn2Xyvx and other sellers inquiring about "Other" transactions.
A carrier technical issue resulted in a small subset of sellers being erroneously charged for adjustments on labels purchased through Buy Shipping. These charges were applied as "Other" transaction account debits on August 22 and September 10, 2025. We are fully refunding sellers impacted by this issue, including extra postage and any associated taxes. These sellers are being notified via email.
We understand that some of you may have additional questions about “Other” transactions appearing on your Payments Reports. If we identify additional issues, you will be notified via email and refunded as appropriate. We value your partnership and understand that errors like this can be frustrating. We are committed to preventing such issues with our carrier partners and resolving any that do arise quickly and smoothly.
