Is anyone experiencing decrease of sale February and March?
I was just going to post this question, they have dropped off 100%, nothing coming in and its been two days since a single new order. Usually there is at least a few every day even in slower times. Has amazon done something again?
Every week there are a handful of posts like this. Some sellers are seeing sales drop and others are seeing sales boom.
It's not a rumor that consumer confidence is down. There are many factors that play into the spending habits of people.
Personally, I have cut back on my spending over the last 12 months in anticipation for economic turbulence, my sales are just below last years for March (Feb was up), customer fraud is up nearly 250% over last year (return fraud, customers looking for refunds without returns, etc).
All of the recent data points I have been tracking are pointing to a weakening economy. I track data, trends, and many metrics through and off of Amazon.
OTDR seems to be a very big metric here on Amazon now. It can greatly impact delivery times shown to customers on the catalog page. Customers who see extended delivery times are not going to make a purchase.
The same here!
It's scary and I think the worst is yet to come, according to the economic forecasts.
My sales are down 25% as compared to YTD 2024.
Sales are a Function of AZ's "Featured Item" Policy...If you're featured you sell...if Not, You Don't...Its really Quite Simple...If your listings are hidden in "other sellers" you need sophisticated buyers to dig down into that link...Most Don't bother.
Our sales always drop in February. Between Super Bowl and Valentines, we always see a decline. Slowly starting to pick up in March.
