account status inactive due to being inactive in other countries

My account status has been deemeed inactive because Amazon, for some odd reason, has signed me up in other countries even though I have NEVER elected or signed up to sell in those countries. It is asking for me to complete credit card verification in other countries even though I've never signed up to sell there.

"We have temporarily given your selling account inactive status. While inactive, your listings will remain active and your disbursements will continue as scheduled. However, you will be temporarily unable to make updates to your listings or account settings. This action does not impact your account health.

Why did this happen?

We have taken this action due to an extended period of inactivity on your account. To protect your business, we have restricted changes to your account until we can verify your identity."

MY US listings are active and I think I can still withdrawal money from there. However, how do I go about fixing this or does it even matter? It is asking for verfication for the european markets but I do not know if this will affect my United states standing?

Please help
