Is it against Amazon policy to sell Non Branded items on branded listings?

I have two large competitors doing this.

My understanding is the brand on the listing should be permanently affixed on the physical product or packaging?

The competitors are stripping out every possible cost of production including selling generic items under branded listings, thinning out magnetic backings to the products while claiming they are a certain thickness etc etc all the while propping up listings with fake reviews. Doing this they benefit from lower production costs, shipping, storage and fba fees allowing them to sell very cheaply and squeeze the market.

Amazon's brand policy states the following "Branding on products and packaging must also be permanently affixed."

"Sellers are prohibited from using a misrepresentation of an existing brand on their ASINs. For example, you cannot use Amaz0nB4$1c$ in your ASIN’s brand attribute if you are trying to list an AmazonBasics product."

But it also states the following so it's confusing.

"If your products or packaging are not branded, but you have a registered trademark for your brand, you can enroll in Brand Registry, which will allow you to list ASINs with your brand’s name as the brand value."

Although the brand have a registered trademark it was not registered by these two companies.

Hello Amazon,

We believe that Amazon needs to be more fair to sellers who have registered their products under the Brand Registry Program. We invest a significant amount of money in advertising and optimizing our listings with pictures, videos, and strategic texts, among others. However, Amazon still allows unauthorized sellers, also known as hijackers, to sell their products using our branded listings. Allowing this, it looks like Amazon invites hijackers to make intellectual property infringements.

We are introducing a product that we sell in the USA into Germany, and we have found that our product has received negative reviews because a hijacker is using our branded listing in Germany. This behavior badly affects our reputation.

Therefore, we would like to request that Amazon ask for our permission before allowing other sellers to use our branded product listings, even though we are not selling in the Amazon marketplace that sellers want to sell. It is not fair that they take advantage of our investment spent in our branded product listings to sell their products.

Our branded product listings that we have created in the Amazon catalog should be blocked for other sellers in all Amazon marketplaces, as our products are private-label products.

Could you please escalate this request?

Relatively new seller here. I have some questions and wanted to get the opinion from some of you on here.

I have some products that I get directly from the manufacturer of a certain brand but the issue is that due to the nature of the products, there is no branding on them. As for the boxes they come in, they come in bulk so often times there are 25-100 units per box depending on the products.

I see other sellers selling the same products but they are listed under their own store name and brand. I'm just wondering how I could do that since whenever I try to sell it as a branded product, it asks for picture proof of the products with the brand logo, etc. The other sellers who sell the same products as me don't have any branding on them when ordering their products so I'm wondering how they got passed the verification steps of selling something with a name brand.
