I am a seller and I am faced with a very difficult case:
In June 2024, we had a Food Safety case (15456140721) for our product Charlie Buddy - Oil for Dogs and Cats (ASIN: B081VJYXXQ). A support specialist advised us to RELIST the ASIN, which worked temporarily, but the issue was never fully resolved because the product started getting banned daily. This is despite being fully eligible and certified (COA provided) and produced by an FDA-registered food facility.
Now, every reinstatement attempt in cases receives the SAME COPY-PASTE RESPONSE from Amazon about an Idaho restriction:
"We received your submission and after careful review we have determined that your ASINs do not meet the criteria for reinstatement.
Why did this happen?
Your listings do not meet our standards. Refer to the following details:
ASIN: B081VJYXXQ
Title: Charlie Buddy - Oil for Dogs and Cats
This product has been identified as a hemp animal feed or remedies product that is prohibited from sale into Idaho by the Idaho Department of Agriculture (ISDA). Although permissible for sale in Amazon’s store, hemp animal feed or remedies cannot be sold into the State of Idaho."
This explanation doesn’t make sense. The Idaho restriction only applies to sales in that state, yet the ASIN is COMPLETELY BLOCKED across the entire marketplace. Our Account Health shows only a Food Safety issue, and there is NO clarity about what’s actually causing the block and how to resolve it fully.
!To make matters worse, Amazon FBA has given us a deadline, and our multi-thousand-unit SKU will be destroyed shortly by Amazon!
We suspect there’s an unresolved internal trigger on our ASIN, but we can’t address it without clear guidance. The repeated Idaho responses are NOT helping, and we’re stuck in a loop.
WE NEED URGENT HELP AND CLEAR ACTIONS TO RESOLVE THIS FINALLY AND FULLY.
If anyone can help escalate this or provide a solution, we are ready to cooperate. Please contact us.

Ugh, this is beyond frustrating. Sellers like us deserve real answers, not the same copy-paste responses over and over. How are we supposed to fix things if Amazon won’t even tell us what’s actually wrong?..
If anyone’s cracked the code on this kind of issue, drop your tips here. Let’s help to pay attention and actually help!
Man, I feel your pain—getting stuck in these endless loops! Have you thought about reaching out for legal advice? It might help to consult with someone experienced in e-commerce or Amazon-related cases. Sometimes just having that kind of backing can make a difference in situations like this.
This is such a tough spot to be in, it's shocking that clear support isn't being provided for such a critical product. Have you tried escalating directly to a highest-level support team? Sometimes a fresh perspective can help break the loop... Wishing you the best in getting this sorted quickly!!!
Wow, that sound so frustrating!
Amazon really should stop such extensive use of AI-based reponses, this whole situations appears to be needing a human touch and someone, who can identify the issue manually,
From the side it looks awfully bad, no one should be treated that way!

Maybe you guys will be able to assist this seller?
It unbelievable!!!
I couldn't imagime that Amazon can be so disrespectful to its sellers! How can I now trust amazon and sell here my items!??!?
I can only imagine how difficult this situation is for you PETCORP!
This situation is completely unacceptable. The seller has followed all Amazon guidelines, provided the necessary certifications, and yet is being ignored with copy-paste responses that do nothing to resolve the issue. The Idaho restriction explanation makes no sense....
Enough with the scripted responses. This case needs immediate escalation, a real investigation, and an actual solution. Amazon must take responsibility and fix this NOW before irreversible damage is done.

Good Evening @Seller_b5yea9JwP3v1V,
I wanted to check in with you regarding ASIN B081VJYXXQ and CASE ID 17188542521. I see that the ASIN B081VJYXXQ has been removed from your inventory.
Did you by chance delete the ASIN? If yes, please ensure you relist it using a full file feed so we can continue with the appeal process and possible reinstatement of the ASIN.
We are still working with the Food Safety team to reinstate the listing, but they might be blocked from proceeding with the investigation if the ASIN is deleted. If you could share an update with us when you have a chance, that would be great.
Look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Morning @Seller_b5yea9JwP3v1V,
I wanted to follow up with you regarding CASE ID 16978882651. I did see that the partner team did not actually send the case to you, hence why you were unable to find it.
You should be able to add inventory for ASIN B081VJYXXQ back as there are no longer any blockers on that ASIN. Apologies that this investigation was not as wrapped up as you probably would have liked, but please be assured that your listing is good to go. Thank you for writing to us on the Seller Forums.
Hope to see you around again soon. Take care! 😊
Cheers, Cooper_Amazon
