Read onlyDear Amazon Seller Community,
I am reaching out for advice and support regarding an issue with completing my DAC7 application on Amazon. I am facing a situation that I find very unfair and hope someone can guide me or share a similar experience.
When I first received the notification to provide my DAC7 information, Amazon gave me 60 days to complete the process. However, the system has not been accepting my Citizen ID (TIN number) and keeps returning an error. Recognizing that this issue is due to Amazon’s system, I promptly opened a case with Seller Support to resolve it.
To my surprise, after opening the case, I received another email stating that I now only have 10 days to submit the DAC7 information, or my account will be deactivated. This feels extremely unfair, as I’ve done everything on my part to meet the original 60-day deadline.
In the same support case, a team member asked me to provide a certificate containing my Citizen ID (TIN number), which I immediately submitted. It has now been 5 days, and I am still waiting for their response. Meanwhile, the 10-day deadline looms closer.
I am extremely concerned that my account will be deactivated despite the fact that I have provided all the necessary documents and am only waiting for Amazon’s system to resolve the issue.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue with the DAC7 application or other documentation submissions? How did you handle the situation, and was there any way to expedite the resolution?
I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights from the community. Thank you in advance for your support!
Hello @Seller_pyOlMV70NnRbj,
Thanks for reaching out. I see that your account has been deactivated for the DAC7 compliance and you are currently waiting for the verification to be completed.
Due to the nature of the situation currently exceeding my ability to assist in this space, I have passed your information and concerns to the appropriate teams for additional review.
Please continue to monitor your performance notifications for follow-up information.
