Inform Consumers Act cannot verify bank account - possible solution found
I hope this helps someone else. After a month and 6 cases, Amazon support was zero help, but I was able to figure something out. What worked for me was starting again as if I was entering a new account, then entering my bank information again. I did NOT upload a statement, and instead used the option to just enter my bank account info. But when I entered the account number, I put a bunch of zeros in front of it. Presto it verified right away. On my bank web site it shows the account number without the preceding zeros so that's how I was entering it. Apparently this was wrong. I just happened to notice that on my paper statement there were a bunch of zeros in front of the account number, so that's how I entered it into Amazon and it went through. I hope this helps someone.

With 7 years of experience working with Amazon seller accounts, I’ve seen how small differences in bank account details can cause verification issues. The leading zeros detail is especially useful and could save sellers a lot of time when dealing with Inform Consumers Act verification.
