My account was deactivated due to inactivity and I needed to reverify my identity. It took me to the charge method screen where I entered a different debit card. I received a message after that saying "we are validating your information". I'd been checking back and forth with partner support and was told I needed to wait the entire 10 working days to hear an update. Chatted over the weekend with partner support and finally received a response that I needed to upload either govt issued ID, bank statement etc. The problem is there is no where for me to upload the documents. Under account info, it continues to say we are validating your information but my account has already been reviewed and there is no where for me to upload my documents. I have yet another case opened today and hopefully I get a better response since no one seems to understand the issue in partner support. It seems like the responses I've gotten from them are automated.
You need a valid credit card to list/sell on Amazon. Debit cards will work for fees, but not for selling.
I have updated my charge method to a credit card. I also spoke with seller support again. My case was transferred, and I received basically the same message over again "Your account has been deactivated because you may have outstanding document or information requests in your Seller Central account. Until you respond to all outstanding requests and submit the required entries in Seller Central, you will continue to have limited access to your selling account".
No one is understanding the issue which that there is nowhere for me to upload my documents for them to verify.
Can an Amazon employee please read my post and respond?? I'm stuck in this never ending loop. Everytime I click on Reactivate Account so that I can reverify my identity, it keeps taking back to the page that says they are validating my information. I've already received an email saying I need to upload more documents but nowhere to upload. It's been a month.
