Why doesn't Amazon do anything to counterfeit sellers?

Why doesn't Amazon do anything to counterfeit sellers? There is particular seller (not sure if I am allowed to share their page) who has like 30+ claims of counterfeit items (mostly for Nike). The seller has around 10 negative seller feedbacks claiming they received counterfeit items in just the past week! Why does Amazon allow these sellers to continue selling counterfeit items?

Furthermore, it is evident EVERY item in their store is counterfeit. Why does Amazon not care? Especially for sellers who have OVER 30 customers claiming the same counterfeit story.

A lot of our competitors are also scam artists, they win the buy-box with horrible reviews, 4 week delivery estimates, contant customer compliants, and more. Why Amazon refuses to take action against them is beyond me.

I've even called them out here on the forums as well, a mod actually reached out to me and I provided them with the seller's account name and a link to their storefront, that mod then asked me for "more information" - what? Amazon has all the information and the ability to take action, what more do you need from me? - Needless to say, nothing was ever done about it.

These are not new sellers either, they have been operating for years and never lose the buy-box.

Big issue with Amazon. They rather waste their resources on suspending retail arbitrage sellers who clearly DO have authentic products, but not the required invoices. Amazon will do whatever makes them the most money, and makes them look best outward

Because Amazon is busy destroying the businesses of real, genuine, and honest sellers!

They make a ton of money off these people. If they use FBA Amazon makes even more. They can forge the invoices from the supplier and get the pass from this bot run company.

The better question is why and how does the seller want to deal with this to make a buck?

The seller is probably Chinese; they have immunity on Amazon.

Amazon only punishes North American sellers.

We are experiencing the same issue. There has been a huge influx of counterfeit in the media and electronics category as well. Just like you mentioned, they have endless negative feedback claiming they are fake with many actually crossed out due to the item being FBA. Absolute insanity, and here we are paying top dollar and going through authorized distributors while still getting re-gated and constantly harassed by Amazon.

The worst are the video gaming accessories, there are so much fake and copy Joy-Cons, Dualshock 4, and Xbox controllers on the brand listings in FBA yet Amazon throttles our Buy Box. My sales were doing fantastic last year, now we are down 90% and never ever get Buy Box because these fraudsters are selling 30% less than us with FBA. Crazy stuff, customers are also noticing and buying elsewhere. Our other marketplaces have been steadily increasing in sales.

Amazon makes too much money to care to put a stop to it. That's all the reasoning you need.

B0DQYL44C8 These are my favorite Amazon counterfeiters, they don't directly claim it's an iphone but a clueless consumer will fall for it. Apparently it's not even a real phone just a prop. And as it's all fba many of the negative feedbacks claiming it's a scam are removed automatically. I have no idea how they are allowed to operate on the site, I guess Chinese organized crime outfits are deeply embedded in Amazon at this point and looking out for their countrymen. Totally crazy stuff
