New Amazon User Interface
Oh my Gosh! The new user interface (that I was forced to adopt a day ago) is horrendous. 98% of the "features" are worthless. Meanwhile, the clutter makes it impossible to find the features I need, like open orders, inventory (you know, minor things like that). I have to peck around to find anything. Amazon for sellers, in all respects, gets worse and worse by the month. I swear, Amazon has a whole bunch of 20-somethings on staff (that know nothing about business) sitting around and coming up with new ways to thwart their sellers. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does!

Yes this is normal when you have to justify unnessisary roles.
There is also the term "shittification" which explains the constant "improvements" that are anything but.
Planned obselecense is another fun one where products are intentionally made worse to promote repeate purchases.

Can you not toggle it off? I tried to use it but it is so broken, doesn't save my settings, flags resolved issues and can't remove the giant red flag...never mind reports are in 3 different places depending on which one you need. It is a trainwreck made clearly by someone who does not use the Amazon seller platform.

I agree, I hate it. But you can switch it back to the classic layout using the toggle button at the top.

Complete junk, I love the mods jumping on with their propaganda videos that showing nothing. The interface looks good but is almost impossible to use; order fulfillment takes longer, buyer communication is burried, Hourly order trend, ....
Who ever thought of this never ran an Amazon business and I am sure no 3P sellers were consulted.

Totally share your frustration! I was also forced onto the new UI recently and fully agree. The layout is messy, core daily functions such as open orders and inventory are much harder to locate. It feels like the designers prioritize fancy new modules instead of improving the practical usability for sellers who operate the store every day. Hope Amazon can listen to seller feedback and optimize the navigation soon.

Amazon has gone insanely downhill. It's the worst marketplace for me on both ends as a buyer and seller. I can't tell what I'm buying half the time and then the sellers don't know what they are listing under so it's error paradise. This comes from a very experienced user of over 15 years too.

if your toggle doesnt work, or is non existent like mine. here is a fix.
I still had the little gear not 3 dots, so look for one or the other
To make classic Seller Central your default:
Go to the top right corner of any page in the new Seller Central
Click the three vertical dots (⋮) next to the Help icon
Select “Default selling experience”
Choose “Seller Central” (the classic version)
Confirm the change when prompted
