    I've always used this for item keyword. Yes, it says jewelry but never has it asked me for ring size. This is a new glitch for me.

    I'm not selling rings; I am selling shirts.

    Can anybody advice?

This is likely a template quirk since your category falls under the broader "Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry" umbrella. I'd recommend downloading a fresh category-specific template from Add Products via Upload and selecting the T-Shirts product type directly — that should pull in only the relevant fields. If the issue persists after that, open a case with Seller Support referencing the error and follow up here with your case ID so we can look into it further.
