Hi, I recently started using Amazon’s new Grade and Resell program, and I’m curious about others’ experiences with it so far. For me, it sounds great in theory (helps me better monetize returned inventory), but I’m on the fence about whether to continue it.

The issues I’m seeing so far are:

1. It makes a total mess of pages like Manage Inventory, FBA Inventory, and any other page in Seller Central where your ASINs are listed out. All the listings for any given ASIN ((New, Used – Like New, Used – Very Good, Used – Good, and Used – Acceptable) are listed as rows in Manage Inventory, and it’s often difficult to tell at a glance which is the “real” ASIN (i.e. the New condition ASIN that I might want to make edits to while I’m looking at Manage Inventory). This could be easily solved by providing a “Condition” filter at the top of pages like Manage Inventory and FBA Inventory – I would simply select “New” for that filter, and get a clean view. But there’s no such filter!

2. I don’t know how to get a view of the re-graded non-New condition inventory that has sold. For example, in the Manage Orders page, there’s no filter that allows me to identify which of my recent orders were for re-graded non-New inventory. (If you know of a way, please let me know!)

3. The 3rd party software I use (e.g. for tracking profits) has gone haywire as a result of my enrolling in this program. I think the launch of program caught some of the software providers by surprise.

Right now I’m leaning toward un-enrolling in the program, and possibly re-enrolling once Seller Central has caught up to it with filters and other tools to help sellers effectively use the program and understand performance.

Would love to learn others’ impressions re the pros and cons of the program. Thanks.
