Read onlyLooking for some help from Amazon. I recently got one of my products restricted. This was the message: "This product has been identified as one that claims to be used with marijuana."
I can understand if there were no other rolling paper listings within Amazon search results, but there a literally thousands of results. Long story short I replied with the following message, sent some pics, and I keep getting the same generic message back.
This product has been identified as one that claims to be used with marijuana". Can you please inform me where I claim to use this with marijuana. I've attached pictures of my product. The packaging is about as basic as it can be. Their are literally thousands of other listings, also rolling papers are not against amazon policy) I have no marijuana leaves on my packaging, or description. The first 4 pictures are of my Hempic™ Rolling Papers, the last 2 are of current listings that are allowed. I'm sitting here looking at thousands of listings for rolling papers on Amazon with marijuana leaves, and not. (I have no leaves or "claims" on my packaging or description) Please take a look, I'm sure you can see this has to be a mistake the bot picked up considering all the other listings. Thanks for your time.

This doesn't matter. They just haven't been caught YET. Amazon is filled with tens of thousands of ASINs that violate policies and not enough computer power to catch them all (or even a fraction of them).
" I replied with the following message,"
Pretty much a wall of text that even the BOTs won't read. Pointing out the violating pages is a waste for the reasons noted above.
Treat Amazon like a three year old -- short sentences, small words and bullet points.
You will be dealing with people who have SOME English but it is most likely NOT their primary language.
IF you are given another chance to appeal think SMALL.
Short sentences
Bullet points
SMALL WORDS that someone reading it can understand when English is NOT their primary language.
AND, Amazon does NOT want to hear what you WILL DO.
They want to be told what you HAVE DONE already.
Amazon can make whatever decision they want to make and generally sellers are stuck with that decision.
Amazon site, Amazon rules.
If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………....
I stopped the quote right there on purpose.
You cannot possibly make that argument using that brand name.
Yes, rolling papers abound. Rolling papers are actually purchased by tobacco users (as opposed to the herb grinder arguments we usually see in the forum).
But your brand name clearly invites marijuana users.
For when an Amazon mod sees this message. Case # 1552929500. Thanks
Hello @Seller_D5xDzPOZAsqoe,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a restricted product policy violation.
Looking for some help from Amazon.
The first thing I wanted to touch on was what @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp mentioned. Even if there are other listings being sold on amazon, this does not mean they are allowed or authorized to be sold. It is imperative that you personally vet your listings, product and our policy prior to listing and attempting to sell products on amazon to avoid these specific situations.
Does your listing contain the mention of marijuana or other related policies such as CBD? Have you reviewed our drugs and drug paraphernalia help page?
As noted by @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl, cigarette rolling papers are allowed per our tobacco policy, if these are not indented for other use, are they being advertised appropriately in the correct category, along with appropriate images and product details?
Regarding the above mentioned policies with our requirements, have you fully confirmed that there are no mention of these restricted phrases?
If you do identify issues with your listing, you may be eligible to publish updates to ensure the listing is compliant, otherwise, we will require supporting documentation on the intended use of the product. Were these manufactured as rolling papers specifically for tobacco or other substances that may be restricted?
If we cannot confirm compliance with these policies the violations will remain and the listings will not be eligible for reactivation. As a word of caution receiving repeat violations of this type will result in the removal of selling privies as a whole that can only be disputed.
I was unable to open or review this case, can you confirm the case ID is correct?
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
Any help with this? Case# 15529295001. Thanks
I just got the following message below back (Am I suppose to say: Oh ok I'm suppressed while you have many other companies selling rolling papers on your website? ) Can you please help me with this? Why are all the other companies allowed with that type of statement? If thats the statement I got, all the other companies shouldn't be allowed to sell either. I'm very concerned about this, I can't be the ONLY one suppressed with that kind of answer.
"Hello,
We understand your concern.
We have reviewed all the information and determined that the ASIN "B0CPW4FP2W" will not be reinstated.
This product has been identified as a cigarette paper/wrap. Although permissible for listing on Amazon, cigarette papers/wraps cannot be sold in certain jurisdictions based on law and Amazon policy.
** This is a final determination and there is no path to reinstatement for this ASIN."
Apparently they think I should be getting swept under the rug while all these other listings are fine. I refuse to accept this, and will be making another forum post soon.
