Hey guys just purchased one GTIN from GS1 website and when i put the code in and complete the product listing is gives me this error
The SKU does not match any ASIN and contains invalid value(s) for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN.

I’ve seen it said on here previously that it can take up to 30 days for Amazon’s system to sync with GS1, so if you just made the UPC, you will probably need to wait a bit before you can make the listing.

I have the same problem. ONe week of communication with seller support with no result. I don’t have a brand registred as I’m a new seller, do you think It has a link with this.
I already did the same process with my first product and it worked very well.

Hi! I was getting the same, many emails apologizing for the difficulty but no answers. I just recieved an email today telling me that if there is no brand, to not get a GTIN/UPC. That would have been nice to know before I purchased them. I’ll try without one and see if it works.

buen día . me paso lo mismo , y lo resolví de la siguiente manera , despliego la cortina de los tipos de códigos de barras y lo dejo en GTIN y le puse dos ceros al final o al principio del numero del código. eespero ayude esta info

Hello all. Finally I understood that if it is generic product there is no need to have a upc code. We need to ask for a GTIN exemption. This is what I did. Unfortunatly this couldn’t be explained by the seller support. I applied for GTIN exemption and listed my product the next day. Good luck to all of you

SOLUTION:
Select GTIN from the drop down and add two zeros to the END of your gtin number.
Select Generic if no brand.
