AMZN not using default ship from address
A heads up to all my FBM sellers with multiple warehouses:
My main warehouse, where 90% of my products ship from, is on the east coast. I have partners on the west coast that I use to ship west coast orders, but my default ship from address is my east coast warehouse.
Well, I was processing my orders this morning, and about a dozen orders in I realized that the 'ship from' on all my shipping labels is my west coast partner. I double checked my shipping settings, to confirm that the default ship from was set to the east coast warehouse, and it is, but whenever I buy shipping, the west coast address is automatically selected. So, I have to change it to what should be the default address before buying the label.
Looks like those ever so competent Amazon programmers are at it again, 'fixing' things that aren't broken. Yay!

I found this issue too today. After I added a new location, the default shipping is no longer the default one. it seems now they pick default location based on alphabet.

Amazon is now "choosing" the "default" shipping address for you, based on THEIR algorithms determining the "best" Ship From location among a seller's multiple shipping locations.
We had to correct a dozen labels yesterday and again this morning after noticing the change to the default "ship from" address.
After an hour with CS, the only answer is to "select" your "default" ship from address EVERY time you print a shipping label.
More time per order equal less profit for seller

Problem is it does not access my default ship from address. A major fail.

Same issue here. Its selecting my west coast warehouse for all orders.
