Inform Consumers Act - Amazon won't let me verify my identity
I received several notices from Amazon to verify my account. So, I gathered my documents and went into my account to begin the verification process. I used a new passport to verify my identity. Unfortunately, I had not signed it yet and uploaded an image without a signature. It was denied overnight. Today, I have spent all day trying to upload a new image for my passport to no avail. A link to edit that information is needed and is non-existent on that page. I have had 13 emails, two phone calls and 3 chats with Seller Central on this topic. They were rude, not fluent in English and unable to provide ANY help. Also, I uploaded my bank statement (same account that I've had since the beginning) and it is also stuck in review. Amazon tells me that it could take 14 days (why?) and my account will be deactivated before then. It is Wells Fargo, so it is pretty common. I realize that some of AWS was down today, but this happened yesterday. The clock is ticking and I am at risk of de-activation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
