The Amazon A9 algorithm organizes all listings.

The Amazon A9 algorithm is run by a company based out of California. Its a subsidiary of Amazon but it pretends not to be...after an unflattering article by the Wall Street Journal in 2019.

Amazon does not want anyone to know how the A9 algorithm organizes its listings so no one can tell you a definitive answer...not even a moderator or Seller Support.

I can only guess.

I have been on this platform for 10 years and my data suggests that words and phrases are taken from both the bullet points and descriptions.

Greetings @Seller_5dLxoPttLbuAk,

Thanks for reaching out with your question. In general Amazon won't be able to share specifics on the search indexing, but you check out the Use search terms effectively help page to determine the best way to build search terms for your product.

Additionally you might want to check out the Search Query Performance Dashboard if you are a Brand Owner. The Search Query Performance dashboard shows brand owners how customers are searching for their brand.

Thank you for your our understanding.

-Glenn
