Request to Close Amazon USA Account but Keep Amazon Canada Account Active
Hello,
I would like to close my Amazon USA account while keeping my Amazon Canada account active. Both accounts are part of the same unified account. Could you please assist me in ensuring that only my Amazon USA account is deactivated and that my Amazon Canada account remains active and unaffected?

WARNING!!! DO NOT ASK AMAZON TO DEACTIVATE A MARKETPLACE!!! THEY WILL DEACTIVATE YOUR ENTIRE ACCOUNT!!!
Instead, simply put the unwanted marketplace(s) on Vacation mode, and make sure that you have no listings (active or inactive) on those marketplaces.
BUT DO NOT ASK TO HAVE A MARKETPLACE REMOVED OR DEACTIVATED!! DO NOT EVEN ASK IF IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!

When you sign up for a selling plan you are automatically enrolled in the the North America and Brazil Unified account which allows you ability to sell in US, Canada ,Mexico and Brazil.

What if I don't want to sell on more than one store?
If you have been upgraded to a Unified Account and do not want to sell on another store, keep the store switcher on the country on which you originally registered. Your products will only list on that store. You can take the additional steps provided above as well to ensure you only have items in your Canada location.
What fees will I pay if I sell something using my Unified Account?
For all per-item transaction fees, you will pay the fees applicable to the store in which the item was sold. Your monthly Professional selling plan subscription fee will be allocated to each North American store in which you have active listings on your monthly billing day, and will be limited to USD 39.99 or its equivalent in total.
