INFORM Issues With Bank Account

We have never had an issue with the INFORM verification every year, but this year we are running into a problem. So we verified all our information, but had to provide an updated driver license since the old one expired. Then for some reason it asked for re-verification of bank account details even though we have never changed our bank account and have been using the same one for over a decade. It has been 15 business days and still showing as pending verification and we keep getting warning banners that our account is at risk of deactivation. I provided the necessary and correct documentation for the verification. Seller Support has been completely useless and keeps stating this has nothing to do with INFORM even though that is what triggered this situation.

Does the new address on your driver license match the business address in your seller account settings? And do both match the address in your bank account?

(supposing you are a sole proprietor or a Single Member LLC)

I’m new to Amazon Seller. I have been trying to get my membership paid for weeks. It appears that my credit union acct is not going through, I have no idea. No one seems to know, my bank has said there is no blocks on my acct. Why can’t this process be easier.

Anyone run into issues with payment & trying to pay their membership?

I have supplies coming in to sell and I have not been fully approved to sell. Because this ongoing issue.

Any suggestions please will be greatly appreciated.

I am also having issues with the INFORM act. Everything is up to date but amazon doesnt seem to be able to realize that and my account is now at risk of deactivation.

We had the same issue, then the bank account was verified but our identity was not verified.

Then we received a formal notification to update our information, we updated. Received an email that our INFORM Consumers Act is confirmed.

10 minutes later our account was deactivated. Had to re-submit all info for bank account and identity again - now waiting for AH team to go through the documents and verify.

We never had this issue before, and this year we've been pulling hairs to get AMZ teams verify all of the information despite submitting it multiple times, and having manual reviews done...

Is anyone still having issues with this? I figured out how to get past the "verify" page that does nothing.

Every case that I have opened has been closed by the account health specialists and seller support. I was not given a single bit of advice from Amazon on how to fix this problem.

I found a few threads that mentioned that the banks associated with people who are having this issue are credit unions or smaller institutions. I use a small business bank. We have had issues with platforms like Zelle connecting correctly.

THIS IS THE ISSUE. At least for my account.

I went ahead an added another deposit method. Luckily I have another checking account I could use. As soon as I added it and changed the new account to the "default" account I was able to go back to my original bank account and click on "verify", it then brought me to the screen where I was able to upload my bank statement for "verification".

All of the warnings are gone regarding INFORM and it appears that I just need to wait for the verification process to complete and I hopefully will be able to switch the deposit method back to the original bank account.

Problem solved, for now. It is too bad I spent hours on end figuring this out. Should be something Amazon is aware of and can tell sellers. @Lex_Amazon

I have this issue as well. I bank with a large national bank. It is really worrisome since we are headed into the peak sales period.

I have been calling account health every day on this and they say the case has been escalated to the Account Verification team to manually review and update my verification status to reflect the accurate information.

My case ID is: 18853929531

I hope this gets worked out for ALL of us who have this issue.
