Unless you're a Chinese seller with a factory in Shenzen China, which gives you vendor status, which has more access than new sellers will ever have. Amazon will take your business away. They don't protect IP even if you're in Brand Registry and any feature you want to use they some home limit who can use the new features. We've pivoted away from Amazon as a serious marketplace for local sellers who live, manufacture, and ship from within the market place they operate in. Amazon is an absolute joke. When we compare our sales to our website and other marketplaces like Etsy, it's an absolute joke. To add insult to injure, the abuse by vendors in China to create bad reviews and other problems for local sellers is unbelievable. They abuse their access to customer data and messaging too, along with their 5 to 10 Amazon stores that sell the exact same products. The use the multiple stores to bury their competitors products who usually are trying to follow the rules and only have 1 store that sells their products. Amazon is Temu. We keep our Amazon account so we can track the tactics used by Chinese vendors to take out local sellers. Our favorite tactic, is trying to order products to return them to affect the return rate of a product, so Amazon's algorithm can suppress the listing due to the created misperception that the product has no organic customer fit. It's sad when you see our faked Amazon reviews compared to our very real Etsy reviews. It's night and day. Please spread this message to other Amazon sellers. Beware, Amazon is now Temu. And Etsy is doing a better job at creating international sales between local marketplaces than Amazon.
