Help Needed to Close My Inactive Seller Account
Hi!
I’ve been trying to close my seller account for several months, but I’m having trouble. My account is inactive, and when I log in through Seller Central, I see a banner that says "INACTIVE ACCOUNT."
I follow these steps to close my account:
Go to Settings in the top-right corner.
Select Account Info.
Click Account Management.
Choose Close Account.
When I click "Close Account," it takes me back to the login page with the same "INACTIVE ACCOUNT" message. Please contact me as soon as possible to help close my account.

You need to activate the account in order to close it.

If there are any issues with your account, you cannot close it.
If you are unable to resolve the issues, then make sure that you are on the "Individual" plan (so no monthly fee), and if you use FBA, create removal/disposal orders for any products still in FBA.
Then walk away.
