"Sorry, there was a problem" after "Add to cart"

I have set up my account and put two items on there, everything looks good but when I click "Add to Cart," then the message "Sorry, there was a problem" appears, why?

You can not buy your own items if that is what you were trying to do.

Consider yourself lucky that they stopped you. If you were successful your account would/could have been suspended permanently.

STOP!!!

You cannot buy your own items. Even attempting to do so might result in a violation against your account.

If the listing looks okay, then it should be fine. If you would like someone to double check your listing, post the ASIN and someone might be able to look at it.

Hello there, my name is CR and wanted to hop in here to see if you had any further details to add to your issue above.

You've received some great advice above from fellow community members @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApand @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw - thank you both, as always!

Additionally, you should not have friends or family purchase your product as well. My guess is what you are seeing above was because you were potentially wanting to check out or see the process from your side (as you thought a buyer would see).

Please let us know if we are misunderstanding your issue here. We'll stand by to help if so.

Please also visit and bookmark Seller University as there is a lot of valuable information to review and absorb there.
