    I got an email today about reclassification, did anyone else get an email?

    I got an email stating my handmade listings have been reclassified by Amazon from guild. I was reclassified last year and all of my listings are good. Why did I get this email?

    "Your listings will not appear in search results or browse pages until all required attributes are complete"

    ***** ALL HANDMADE LISTINGS ARE REMOVED FROM HANDMADE UNLESS YOU ADD A HANDMADE DESIGNATION *****

    And it says one needs to download a category inventory report to review Amazon's category changes and to review if any new attributes are missing - which they will be because they were not previously required.

    I have thousands of skus created over the years. It's a ridiculous task - on top of the title reclassification.

    ** HOW ABOUT A REPORT TELLING US WHAT ASINS ARE NOW IMPACTED WITH A SPREADSHEET SHOWING ANY MISSING NEW ATTRIBUTES? ***

    HOW ABOUT AUTOMATICALLY ADDING THE NEW HANDMADE DESIGNATION FOR EXISTING HANDMADE ITEMS?

    I got the SAME Email. I was reclassified last year as well... Why are we getting this email is the question? There doesn't seem to be any issues with any of my listings. None are search suppressed, and none are not the featured offer, all have been working fine since October 2025.

    I believe this letter was triggered due to the shortening of the titles nonsense.

    I clicked on the first link in the email "listing quality dashboard" and saw there were only 3 listings there. One was a handmade item that I missed shortening the title on and 2 listings not handmade but listings of craft patterns where the title was over 75 characters. ( In addition to selling my handmade items I also sell used crafts books and patterns. ) When the nonsense about changing titles was started, I only changed the titles of the handmade items that were my own. All the other crafts books and patterns I left unchanged because I did not originally add the listing, I only did a "sell similar" on those. I have a couple of thousand of those and did not want to change them myself. I just imagined that AI would do the work for me and change those.

    Of the three items listed on the "listing quality dashboard I see wording under the titles that reads "Enhance Listing." I click on that for my handmade one and I see that there are some AI suggestions about what to change in the listing. So, I check the suggestions to make sure they are ok and click submit. The other 2 I left alone as they were not my handmade items.

    Click on your first link, the "listing quality dashboard" and see how many items you have. You may have to either change the title using edit or accept the AI suggestions if they are acceptable to you and submit. Please come back on here to let us know if your dashboard has a few items or many and if you changed any.

    I understand you received a reclassification email despite having already completed the process previously. This email is a system-generated notification indicating that some of your listings may still be missing required attributes - including the Handmade designation - in their new standard product category. This does not necessarily mean something is wrong with your account, but Amazon's system has detected incomplete attribute data on certain ASINs.

    To identify which listings need attention, I recommend checking your Listing Quality Dashboard under the "Enhance Listings" section. You can also download a Category Listing Report to review which ASINs may have missing attributes.
