Read onlyI have opened 5 separate Safe-T claims for returned items that were automatically refunded by Amazon on First Scan. Within seconds of submitting the claim, it is automatically denied with the reason:
"The reimbursement claim does not cover outbound shipping costs."
In at least 3 of the claims, we are not even requesting outbound shipping costs. But it is still immediately denied and not even investigated. Picture shows that it was denied within the same minute of the claim being submitted.
I have at least a dozen more safe-t claims that need to be submitted, but with this bot automatically denying the claims - I don't know what to do.
Please Help!
You have to keep appealing each one until you get a resolution because they deny you repeatedly at first by bot. It's shady but they'll get away with it for at least four more years.
We need more information.
1. What were the reasons for the return requests? Were they buyer-remorse type returns? Or were they seller-faulted?
2. Do you offer free shipping?
3. Are you regestered for "Customer Service by Amazon?'
4. FBM or FBA?
5. What were you asking to be reimbursed for in the safety claims?
Same thing started happening to us, immediate responses, some denied, some paid. ALL for outbound shipping fees. We keep getting this as well - The reimbursement claim does not cover outbound shipping costs.
I have been appealing every one and the response is taking weeks. Haven't had any response on two since 1/7/2025.
Keep appealing, I just had two process that I have been appealing since last week. And they reimbursed us for the outbound shipping.
Getting lots of those especially when customer claims Arrived Late and you even provide Amazon tracking showing it was exactly on time and they say it is not covered so this is Amazon already paying customer because they interfere in you business and then refuses to cover what they wrongfully refunded so we consider this as THEFT by Amazon!
.
Sipping is a service and it is only FREE when items are originally listed as FREE and what Amazon is doing is forcing millions of orders to be FREE after they were listed as a PAY service and are pricing reflects weather item is listed as Free Ship or Paid ship we do not see how this is legal for Amazon to be doing this and Seller Support Bots have Zero authority over Safe-T bots so you can not dispute these cases so we may all need to live with the standards of an eye for an eye
Hi there @Seller_1iIOjkcesfNu4,
Thank you for being a part of this community and posting here your situation.
Please share the Claim ID associated with this case. I would like to review and determine what options you might have to proceed.
Thanks,
Joey
we are getting exactly same issues for FBM. Safe-T is either corrupt as heck, or just incompetent.
here is some of our orders affected

we are getting the same BOT-denials, with no reasoning. after one or two appeals the case gets last worded, and even though the claim is mirror image of multitudes of Awarded cases that get Accepted - for no logical reason these mirror image claims still get denied.
@Joey_Amazon,
Here is another example if needed.
Used "Other" as a reason for the claim.

SAFE-T claim ID: 80446-00828-1746903

we are having the same problem with many claims , safe t claims are being denied for the reason OUTBOUND SHIPPING COST NOT COVERED. . we are not even asking for the outblound shipping cost. is there any resoultion to this? i am in the process of appealing these claims but no response yet. AMAZON HELP!!!!
NEW INSTANT AUTOMATIC REPLY BY AMAZON SAFE-T-CLAIM BOTS:
"The issue you reported is not covered by the Prepaid Returns for Seller Fulfilled Order program."
I have been appealing all the claims that were instantly denied, and have had some actual response from their side. But why do we have to go in circles and deal with bots? It's annoying.
