close my EU and UK account for good

Hello Amazon support,

My account is currently deactivated I think because I currently do not have a valid VAT number. I haven't sold on EU/UK marketplace for several years, I'm being charged monthly for no reason. I would like to close my EU/UK account for GOOD.

Please help me on doing this ASAP.

I want to amend this issue I am having. I do have a VAT number for UK but the seller central wont let me upload the VAT with my USA EIN as well as LLC information. I had this uploaded before many years ago. Now my account is deactivated and I think this is the reason. However, because seller central has so many bugs the system puts me in an endless loop. When I try to upload this information it sends me to the business information which is correctly updated. It won't let me update VAT so I can reactivate my account to CLOSE MY ACCOUNT FOR GOOD.

There are no valid phone numbers to call Amazon to help.

AMAZON SUPPORT PLEASE HELP ME ASAP!

Hello @Seller_gAeeWcDUguDcR,

Thank you for posting on the Forums.

"I do have a VAT number for UK but the seller central wont let me upload the VAT with my USA EIN as well as LLC information. I had this uploaded before many years ago. Now my account is deactivated and I think this is the reason. "

I see that your UK account has been deactivated for VAT compliance issues and you would like guidance on how to get this resolved.

In this scenario, I suggest to visit this link and share with us what the status of the VAT number is? If the status has been rejected it may be due to the name or address on the account not matching the registration information from the tax authority. Can you confirm that this information matches?

If you believe that this deactivation has been taken in error, I suggest to email: vat-number-appeals@amazon.com and include the following information...

-- Your UK VAT number

-- Your Amazon legal seller name

-- An explanation for any difference with the legal name stated in the UK VAT Checker

-- A copy of your UK VAT registration certificate

Here is a link to the UK VAT checker:

If the VAT number is unable to be verified, the account will remain deactivated and it will not be eligible for closure.

Once you have reviewed the information and questions above, please feel free to respond here. I look forward to assisting you with a resolution.

Wishing you the best,

LeviDylan
