Ask Amazon: Remote Fulfillment with FBA Program
Hello Sellers,
Welcome to our Ask Amazon focused on the updates to the Remote Fulfillment Program with FBA. Remote Fulfillment with FBA allows you to sell to customers in Canada and Mexico using your US FBA inventory. The program can help you increase sales and expand your customer base without sending inventory to the destination country. To simplify your selling experience, we’ll leverage the Build International Listings tool to duplicate your eligible US offers on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.mx. The tool also synchronizes your US FBA prices to Mexico, Canada, or both, by adjusting for fee and currency exchange differences.
We’ll leave this topic open today until 5 pm PST. You can post any questions you have as a reply, we ask you to keep it to one question per reply. If a question you have has already been posted, give it a like and we’ll make sure to prioritize the most popular questions first. We have moderators closely watching this thread throughout the day, and they may merge posts with similar questions so we can answer them all in one place. In the meantime, our product assurance team is reviewing your questions and we’ll respond to them by 5 pm PST tomorrow (July 20th).
We are working to provide you with the best Seller Forums experience as possible. We welcome all feedback surrounding Ask Amazon’s so that we can continue to improve your experience.

Hi! We are a small business and we are interested in Remote Fulfillment, but we are a little bit confused. We would like to sell in Canada and Mexico. However, when we list our products now they have a box where we can put the price in Mexico and Canada. That goes fine. However, when we go to the inventory in those marketplaces Amazon ask me to get approval.
So, my question is using remote fulfillment do we need to get approval in categories like grocery and toys in Canada or Mexico although our inventory will be in the U.S?

Is remote fulfillment available to handmade accounts? All of my inventory says it is not eligible when I go to enable RF

I have products for FBA sale in the USA. They were all selling just fine in Canada for years through Fulfillment by FBA. This year, several of them have suddenly become ineligible for Fulfillment by FBA in Canada after years of being eligible. There is no reason for this despite this claim on the eligibility sheet: “” Certain ASINs are ineligible for the program because of country-specific regulations, import restrictions, transportation risks, or a combination of these factors. If eligibility changes for this ASIN, it will automatically be added to Remote Fulfillment. “” These are simply 3 ring binders and binder pages. Some products are eligible while some are not. All the products are similar. Customer service can not help, that is for sure. I have opened several tickets and always get generic response that are not helpful. Customers in Canada are being forced to pay very high prices from vendors who buy from me in the US and resell in Canada while Amazon and I are certainly losing sales because of these high prices. Who do I contact to get this fixed ? Thank you.

I’ve started selling on Amazon.MX but I’m unable to track packages. I got the order confirmation in my email that includes tracking # shipped through Amazon Logistics MX but when I try to track the package I’m unable. A) Where is the best website/location to track the package? B) Will it actually track?

We aren’t selling Restricted, Prohibited, or Dangerous Goods, but roughly half our items got marked as such when running through the Build International Listings process. What specific steps should I take to resolve this?

Looking at our new Amazon.MX account, ~50% of our sales thus far are being held in reserve. After our initial two-week sales period, and assuming we continue to make sales, are those funds released back to us? If not, how big of a reserve fund is required ?

Hi!
We have multiple brands in our account, and are only interested in selling a few of those brands (and not the entire catalog). We have build international listings turned on, so when we enable the program, it auto-creates all eligible listings in the target marketplaces. How do we go about keeping the brands that we dont want in MX and CA out? We have deleted them, but they reappear.
Thanks

We have numerous ASINs that have been erroneously marked as being subject to import restrictions. We have tried many times over the past year, but have not been able to resolve this issue with Seller Support. What specific steps can we take to lift incorrect import restrictions?

I’m using FBA in all 3 three markets. Why does it say I’m out of stock in Mexico and Canada when I have a 1000 units available of the same product in the United States market?
