Listing Blocked due to high “Seller Controllable Return Rate”

Our listing has been blocked due to higher than peer products “Seller Controllable Return Rate” with top issues are “Defective” and “Not as described” which we believe it’s more of being customers game the system to get a free shipping for returns.

Anyone can advise how this might affect our account/ account health if it happens again? And how to deal with this issue in general?

The same would be true of "peer products"if that was the case. Amazon specifically said your rate is higher than peer products and not merely that it is high, meaning your products get a significantly higher rate of returns for those reasons than similar products by other sellers.

To fix it sell better quality items that are more accurately described.

I respect your opinion, but that’s not the case because customers claim the product doesn’t fit in their return notes/ communications with me, while FBA find it damaged when they received it back … my product never gets damaged at all if you try to use it and it doesn’t fit.

Dimensions are clear in images and description, but we’ve tried to put them multiple times to help catch buyers attention … hopefully to avoid the issue soon
