Is any one who solve the problem of business insurance? We sumitted our insurance certificate for couple times and always got rejection. Current open case No.: 15356989601.

1. We have no problem at all for the same insurance certificate last year and it's validated by Amazon insurance team.

2. Apr 28 2024: We sumitted our insurance certificate (same format as last year) on Amazon platform.

3. Apr 30 2024: We got reply from amazon insurance team through case 15199166871. The reject reason is as follows:

The document you provided does not mention if any additional clause is present in the policy. Please note that your policy does not contain a “Sunset Clause”. You’ll be required to submit your full policy document to confirm that your policy does not contain a “Sunset Clause” along with any endorsements together with your COI.

4. May 10 2024: Our insurance company AIG confirmed with us that there is no "Sunset Clause" in our insurance certificate and insurance contract (see attchment). And I open case as regarding to this issue.

5. May 17 2024: I submited the insurance certificate and insurance contract.

6. May 27 2024: We got reply from amazon insurance team through15318332271. The reject reason is as follows:

-- Your insurance policy contains a sunset clause. To ensure that your insurance policy complies with Amazon requirements and does not contain a sunset clause, you can purchase insurance through an Amazon Accelerator Program Participant.

We provide our insurance certificate and contact to Amazon. And we validated with our insurance company that there is no "Sunset Clause" in our insurance certificate and contract. But Amazon's first reply is that there is no "Sunset Clause" in our cerficate and second reply said there is "Sunset Clause" in our contract. It's really confusing. I don't underderstand what the insurance team is doing. Please explain to me where is the "Sunset Clause". I'm tracing this answer for more than one month.

I've had the same commercial policy (and provided it to Amazon for years) underwritten by Erie Insurance. I received the following response from Amazon after submitting my proof of insurance:

Hello,

Thank you for submitting your proof of insurance. We have reviewed it and at this time cannot verify that your commercial liability insurance complies with Amazon requirements for the reasons listed in this message.

-- The proof of insurance that you provided indicates that your policy is not written on an occurrence basis.

Here's my response to Amazon: The insurance policy submitted has been unchanged for years and was previously accepted. The policy is absolutely an "occurrence basis" policy. Not only that, but it is the very definition of an "occurrence basis" policy. If you require a letter from Erie insurance stating as such, please let me know and it will be provided.

This is an attempt to steer sellers toward the expensive and unnecessary Amazon provided carriers for which Amazon receives a kick back for each policy underwritten. I find the behaviour of our corporations appalling. There truly is a war with small businesses raging in this country. I only post this for informational purposes to share with my fellow sellers who are also frustrated with the state of the union.

I have uploaded my certificate of insurance and it was rejected. I purchased it from the same company last four years and they were verified successfully without any issues. This time I have got reply

-- Your policy does not cover your sales through the Amazon.com store or specifically provide coverage in the USA jurisdiction.

I am sure that my certificate meets all Insurance requirements.
