You can handle this one of two ways. You can combine the orders and confirm both using the same tracking number. You can also ship each order separately. Of the two options I would select the latter, shipping the orders separately. Why? Because some buyers keep good records of what they order and it is easier to identify if the orders are separate.
If someone orders multiple items in a single order then go ahead and ship all in the same shipment. If you break an order up into multiple shipments you increase the chance of something not showing up delivered and are stuck with an INR.
In the past, I have shipped together, filled in the same tracking number for both orders, and sent the buyer a message informing them that the 2 orders are in the same package. Include both packing slips, of course.
If a customer bought two items by placing two different orders, ship two items.
If you stick everything in one box, and that box is lost, stolen or simply reported missing, you will get dinged for two orders.
Ok thanks everyone. To keep any problem from arising I will go on and ship in 2 boxes.
