Your Guide to Amazon Payment Service Providers (PSPs)🏦

Hi Sellers!

We want to ensure you understand the requirements for receiving your Amazon sales proceeds securely. Let's break down the key points about acceptable bank accounts and payment service providers (PSPs).

Your Payment Options

You have two main ways to receive your sales proceeds:

  1. Direct bank account from a deposit-taking bank
  2. Account through an approved Payment Service Provider (PSP)

About Payment Service Providers (PSPs): If you choose to use a PSP, it must be part of our Payment Service Provider Program. This requirement applies whether you're using direct disbursement or Amazon Currency Converter for sellers.

What You Need to Know:

  • Only PSPs participating in our Program can process your Amazon payments
  • Find approved PSPs in our Selling Partner Appstore

Current PSP not approved? You'll need to switch to either:

  • An approved PSP, or
  • A direct bank account

Important: Payment Delays

PSPs must complete required security checks, including:

  • Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification
  • Sanctions screening
  • Anti-money laundering checks
  • Other risk management controls

These checks may temporarily delay your disbursements, as allowed by law. Contact your PSP directly for status updates on delayed payments.

Need to Update Your Payment Method? Visit the Deposit Methods page to make changes to your bank account information. We may hold disbursements until you switch to an approved payment method.
