Hi, Amazon has a glitch in their system where, if a unit originally was measured as oversize (possibly from a previous seller's packaging), but has its measurements subsequently changed to standard size measurements, then, for FBA inbounding purposes only, it will remain oversize.
The unit will correctly be charged the standard size fee and have the correct measurements on our inventory page; however, on the main FBA revenue calculator, it will reflect the old oversize dimensions.
This is unfair, especially with the new placement fees coming up tomorrow. We're literally talking about a $3.80 per unit fee vs a 0.38 per unit fee difference.
Will be talking to seller support, but not holding out hope that they'll even understand the issue. What they'll probably end up doing is just re cubiscanning it for us and not listening to the actual issue at hand.
I was hoping some mods can chime in and maybe fix this glitch.
I don't think it's too much to ask that a STANDARD SIZE unit actually gets charged the standard size inbound placement fee.
Hi @Seller_pyCNvcu4niexi, the mods here wouldn't be able to unilaterally fix any glitch, but if you share the details and pictures as needed with seller support we can always monitor the case and escalate if needed if you share that case ID here.
