The #1 New Release Badge Requirements
I have received the following badge on my listing twice in a 2 week period.
The thing is, I launched this item on March 16 of this year. I thought you could only get this badge within 30 days of launching. Does anyone have more hands on information on how you get this badge?
I am not looking for any links on the Amazon policy as its not favorable to sellers.
In addition, I received this badge for one day...two weeks ago. The very next day the badge disappeared. Today, I have received it again. It appears this badge only appears after a good day of selling...basically crossing 45K in rank (In office products in this case).
For reference, I have spent well over 2,000 USD marketing this product as its had a slow growth. I also began Facebook ads to help with branded search terms on the Amazon side. 3 months later..its now showing signs of life.
Knowledge on how to obtain this badge would help me (and others) with future product launches.

Michelle at Amazon here. The badge is earned within the first 90 days of launching your listing, not 30.
If you've recently uploaded or plan to upload a product on Amazon, it has 90 days to earn the orange ‘New Release’ Badge. This badge is awarded to products with a high level of sales demonstrated during the first three months after listing.
To draw attention to your new listing, you can to drive traffic to it. This can be achieved by running PPC or social media campaigns. By optimizing your product listing and incorporating relevant keywords, you can also improve visibility organically among search results.
Similar to the ‘Best Seller’ Badge, Amazon updates the recipient of its ‘New Releases’ badge hourly. The main requirement to be eligible is high sales volume within a short time frame, showcasing its strong performance and encouraging customers to explore the new offering.
