AWD has a terrible policy that if you do not use an amazon carrier they will not reimburse you if they lose your inventory.
I sent a sealed container to AWD.
After receiving at AWD, it is showing 9 cases missing.
I sent AWD the proof of delivery and BOL.
AWD claimed "Please be aware that the Bill of Lading (BOL) provided simply confirms that the boxes were loaded at the pickup location"
If they were loaded at a location into a sealed container and only opened at AWD then it means they were lost at AWD. You can see if a sealed container has been tampered with!
They need to change the policy and have AWD employees count the cartons and sign for them.
It seems to me that AWD is trying to rob sellers of potentially millions of dollars by losing inventory and not reimbursing seller for their incompetence.
Thank you for sharing that feedback @Seller_LR3eVDWG7tcII
The scenario you shared is covered by our Amazon Warehousing and Distribution terms and conditions, and in such cases sellers must work directly with the carrier to resolve this issue.
However, if you share a Case ID I can share it with our partner team to determine if any additional steps are available to investigate that shipment.
