How to pull an actual Amazon Category report? (Not the Category Listings Report)

The Category Listings Report gives you the "Product Type" and "Item Type Keyword" but these are not formatted as Amazon Categories.

For example, an ASIN with the Product Type "officeproducts" and "business-and-store-sign-holders" will fall under Office Products > Office & School Supplies > Store Signs & Displays > Business & Store Sign Holders.

Is there a report where I can pull the actual category structure of Amazon for my ASINs? Alternatively, is there a directory where I can match the Item Type Keyword from the Category Listings Report to an Amazon Category?

Greetings @Seller_tmnFZ0QDSljQ2,

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns with your category and browse node information. I'd like to clarify a few things as what you are describing ("Office Products > Office & School Supplies > Store Signs & Displays > Business & Store Sign Holders") is not a category, but a browse node.

Categories are different from browse nodes in that categories use the Product Type to determine what restrictions may be placed on selling products in that category as well as fees. Browse nodes are used for searching and browsing by buyers and are based on browsing history.

To my knowledge. at this time there is not a report that will generate the browse nodes for given products. However you can see here how to download a Category Specific Browse Tree Guide which will help you, find the correct Item Type Keyword or Browse node for your product.

Thank you for your understanding. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
