Damaged returns from FBA customer, Frequently

Hello fellow sellers. Have any of you noticed that many of the returns from customers are damaged product? I have seen numerous times where a customer used a product and then returned it in USED condition. I have also seen where customers will steal parts of the product. Such as Crutch tips from a pair of crutches we sell. I have also seen customers return an item that is very similar to our product but is not our produt at all. I seems that the FREE Returns has created an incredible problem for FBA sellers.

Has anyone else seen such high damaged returns of products? UP VOTE THIS IF YOU AGREE AMAZON NEEDS TO IMPROVE THE RETURNS PROCESS.

Incorrect, It's an incredible problem for all sellers on the site. Amazon RFS is the biggest supporter of buyer fraud in the country. Does Amazon care, no. They encourage it with the free refunds.

For us, this year was the worst in 25 years of selling. Buyer reburn fraud was at its all-time high, and Amazon's failure to reimburse Safe-T Claims, is the icing on the cake.

Yes, you have to set your pricing with this in mind. Also, we have our account settings to repack if product is in otherwise sellable condition. This results in a some used (like new/very good) products and Amazon sells some as new. Not sure exactly how they decide, but this reduces our "unsellable" units.
