Read onlyI want to close my account entirely. I have tried so many ways to try and do this, and it remains in deactivated status and I continue to get charged monthly "FBA removal" fees despite me not having any active listings whatsoever.
I tried downgrading my account to stop monthly charges, but this has not worked either. There is not even a way for me to contact Amazon Seller Central directly in attempts to seek help. The help section only leads me to "reactivate my account".
Somebody please help! I feel helpless in trying to shut this store down entirely.
Has nothing to do with listings, if you have
items at FBA they keep charging...sometimes for a year or more...
Ahh, but that's where the fun begins...you can't Amazon will not let you close a suspended account....
You might save a bit by downgrading to an individual account if you are still on the Pro plan and paying $40/month.
However, as @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI notes, Amazon will continue to charge you while there are items in the warehouses.
AND, there is no incentive to expedite removal since they are collecting fees every month!
The REAL fun is to determine why you were suspended! If it was for IP violations and authenticity you will never get the items back (or any of the money in the account) and Amazon will drag out removal until your bank account is bled dry.
Find the suspension notice and POST THAT but remove all personal information first.
Anyone answering will need to see what wording they used and what they are asking for.
If it is a Section 3 violation for dropshipping anyone responding needs to see the language to determine if it included the 'death sentence' wording.
Were there other issues such as IP violations, RA, OR, you used a Virtual Assistant and they 'helped' you with paperwork and forged documents?
NOTE -- If it was for IP, RA, OA or dropshipping you will NOT get the products or the money in your account back because you have no chain of custody and proof of authenticity.
