Dear Amazon - Thank you for the new Seller Central experience!

Dear Amazon,

Thank you for the new Seller Central experience. I especially appreciate the decision to not only move everything but also rename it. Changing the navigation alone would have been too easy. This way, even if I remember exactly what I need, I still get the rewarding experience of wondering whether it still exists.

I’m also enjoying the efficiency improvements. Tasks that once took one click now take five, which gives me significantly more time to reflect on my choices. It’s nice to know that after years of learning Seller Central and developing an efficient workflow, I can once again experience the excitement of being completely new here.

The new navigation is particularly helpful. Previously, I had the bad habit of knowing where things were. Now, every task begins with a brief scavenger hunt. Sometimes I find what I’m looking for. Sometimes I find something completely unrelated that has also been renamed. Either way, I’m learning.

And thank you for asking me to take the tour every time I switch accounts. I know I declined it 30 seconds ago, but perhaps I’ve changed as a person since then. Maybe this time, after switching from one account to another, I will finally decide that what I really need is an overview of the interface I have been using all day.

At this point, I no longer find things in Seller Central. I encounter them unexpectedly. There is a genuine sense of accomplishment when I stumble across a page I was actually trying to reach.

Please don’t change anything back. I’m sure eventually we’ll all stop remembering what the old version was like, and then technically the problem will be solved.

Sincerely,

Someone who is pretty sure this feature used to be here

If Amazon were to read that (which we know they won't) -- what would you like to wager they would take it at face value and count it as positive feedback (since they would only read tiny portions)

I share your opinion.. And the good thing is, I was debating staying with amazon but it really is the most frustrating part of all the businesses that I own and this latest change helped me decide to end my time here. And when I made that decision, it was amazing how totally relived I felt. I have always felt sorry for all the people that come to the forum begging for amazon to "Switch back" knowing that is never going to happen. So I looked at all the changes just this past year, the dd7, the layout changes, the total lack of any meaningful help for sellers, the automatic rejections of the a to z claims or safe t claims and just decided that was enough. No one will miss me here, amazon wont care because for everyone like me that leaves there are hundreds of starry eyed new people that saw outdated videos on line and come here knowing nothing and get closed down in a few months and then come to the forum to ask why. Good luck to everyone here, I know there are many very successful sellers on here that are able to deal with all this nonsense and I envy their patience. I never thought I would see the day that other platforms were better to sellers than amazon, but in my opinion, we are there.

The sad part is it will never go back to the original. We complained about a lot, almost all, of there changes and not one has been changed back to the original. We have to live with it or leave and Amazon knows that. We work for Amazon. They make the rules.

You are correct. I have been selling here about 20 years, since the days of zshops. Each time they fiddle with the site, both the buyer and the seller end, it gets worse, people complain, and Amazon doesn't care. I'm starting to think they have some secret plan...

I am on Amazon since 2017. That, the 2017, version was the best (what I witnessed). And every new version kept getting worse, worse and worse. Not once they changed something that was really good. Every time we had to adapt to some new uncomfortable change that they made.

But this one is by far the worst combined. I can't find ANYTHING that I need!

They NEVER surveyed real sellers because they keep removing vital things from the main page dashboard.
