Read onlyHello,
I recently received two simultaneous emails from Amazon: one requesting identity verification with in 3 days to avoid deactivation , and another stating my account rating was below 100 with an unaddressed policy violation risking account deactivation, also citing identity verification as a required action. I completed verification within that time frame, documents are still under review but my account was still deactivated.
I am clueless that despite complying with Amazon's policies I am facing critical policy violation badly impacting my account health. I haven't done anything wrong. Moreover, my rating was suddenly reduced from 200 to 0 without any warning or explanation. Is there any reason for drastic reduction.
Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the information provided regarding the recent delays that you have encountered with the verification. I understand that has led to an impact to your account which is causing increasing concern. I do want to get you support on this situation, so I have gone ahead and compiled the information regarding your situation. I have transferred the details off to the appropriate teams to get an update on the status.
At this time, I will not have any additional updates, but I encourage you to monitor your seller central for any changes or new messaging you may receive.

The same bull***t happened to me on 4/4/25. I did my ID Verification on 4/1/25, then deactivated. Absolutely ridiculous!
I am experiencing the same issue. I received an email from Amazon requesting identity verification within 3 days. I completed the verification process and uploaded the required documents the very next day. However, my documents are still under review, and my account remains deactivated.
The message stated that I would receive a response within 2 business days, but it has now been almost a week with no update or communication from Amazon.
I am really frustrated and don't know what to do now .
exactly same thing for me that too on 1st April and i submitted id verification which was not completed and got deactivation notice. This is unfair. I believe you also were verified already and still got rejected on id. And nobody is giving specific detail rather vague generic statement. How can this be overseen by financial authorities?
We have faced a similar issue. Reports were made to Federal Trade Commission and Luxembourg Police. If any of you sellers have faced the same issue - collect all the proofs and evidence if possible and open FTC and Luxembourg police complaints, since we were informed if more reports will be made - the more chances on Amazon will receive sanctions and fees for such scam behavior.
