Customers can't shop on Amazon due to the Competitive Price Policy
I have Amazon customers calling me directly asking where can I buy this?
I have an active listing for the item, but my price doesn't meet the "Competitive Price"
So the listing has no featured offer and cannot be advertised and when searching for the item the listing isnt visable (I tried).
I search the web for external prices for the item and find multiple prices inline with my price, but 1 major retailer has them offered at cost.
So this 1 retailer is liquidating and the result is that Amazon customers cannot buy the item. The 1 retailer who has them at cost is not advertising and it took me about 10 minutes to find.
So ultimately the customer is the one punished. I though Amazon was supposed to be about taking the work off of the customer, delighting the customer. I think this policy is doing the opposite.
FYi we are a tier 1 distributor and brand authorized respresentitive. This isnt about me, this is about people trying to buy an item and Amazon making it hard.

Quite frankly our pricing is none of Amazon's business. Neither is it any of Amazon's business to tell us how long we want to take to ship stuff. Amazon get out of the way. Since when do we live in a Nanny State environment?

The California AG is claiming Amazon's competitive pricing system is a "years-long scheme to raise prices by pressuring vendors to influence competitors’ pricing." According to MSN, "The state argues these tactics artificially inflated costs for consumers and violated the Cartwright Act and Unfair Competition Law." Another major platform does the same thing. So I'm guessing others will be challenged too.

What is working well is any item price suppressed remember this listing is toast it will never perform again it is tainted we shift that item and all units to ebay let the Amazon listing die. Then ANY listing with NO BUY BOX BUTTON should also be considered price suppressed tainted should also be considered for alternate platform do not hesitate or waste time dealing with Amazon bots time is money move forward and dont look back AMAZON does not want these sales so it is very clear and simple path to take!
