whats the difference between units ordered and units sold?

whats the difference between units ordered and units sold?

Where can I find the number of units sold of a product in the seller central for a specific time period along with the revenue it generated or the total sales amount? I am trying to forecast the sales in the future by ooking at the product performance in the past but I need to look at the total units sold alongside the revenue it generated? Could someone please help?

Hi @Seller_cHV5Sc6a6wZbx,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help with this! The Business Reports section is the perfect place to find this information. This link How to Read Amazon Business Reports is a great place to start.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Dominic

Imagine you have a brick and mortar store. Units Ordered are the items that came with customers up to the register. Units Sold are the ones that customers actually bought.

At a B&M, customers may have changed their mind about purchasing once they got to the register, or may not have had enough money on them to pay for it.

Same idea for Amazon.
