Unable to charge but credit card payment showing as successful

I see this message below in my seller account stating unable to charge. However I can see that Amazon successfully charged my credit card account $39.99 along with (3) other account verification transactions on my credit card. My credit card company says all transactions went through successfully. I even received an email from Amazon confirming that they charged my card $39.99.

Why am I still getting a message about unable to charge??????????

Are you using a valid credit card? A debt card will work for fees, but you need a valid credit card (charges interest, you get a bill and accepts international charges).

Hello,

I had the same problem. My credit card didn't expire until August of 2024. When I got the notice last month, I was a bit confused since I still had a few months left. Make sure your card isn't going to expire soon. Should be more than 6 months out.

So i inputed another credit card that expires in 2028. I could not log into my seller account. A page just came up to update my credit card. It was stressful at the time because I had to confirm shipment. Hope this helps!
