Reporting State sales taxes remitted and paid by Amazon on my 2024 tax returns.
I believe Amazon acts on my behalf within their responsibility as a Marketplace Tax Collection(MTC) by use of Marketplace Facilitator Laws(MPF) to collect and remit sales and use taxes and/or regulatory fees on sold products from my storefront and shipped to customers in those jurisdictions(state, county, city, district) that have enacted such laws.
Does Amazon provide a reconciling report document within seller central that I can run to report these 2024 by state total sales taxes remitted and paid that I can use in preparing and submitting my 2024 tax return based on my customer sales?
Other than working through a very complicated excel file, is there a report I can run in Seller Central which will provide a computed total net sales taxes remitted and paid in 2024 for each state jurisdiction where I have sold products?
Are the state sales tax reporting forms available in Seller central if I need a tax form to report specific total sales taxes by state remitted and paid for 2024?
