Clarification on Variation Theme “Set Name”
Hello Amazon moderators/sellers,
I am seeking clarification regarding the variation theme “Set Name”.
Could you please confirm what “Set Name” specifically refers to in plastic bag category?
I currently have two related products:
Product A: Includes 2 medium bags + 2 small bags + 1 nylon binding strap (Set Name: 5 Bag Strap Set)
Product B: Includes 4 medium bags + 4 large bags + 1 leather binding strap (Set Name: 9 Bag Strap Set)
Would it be compliant to combine these two products under the variation theme “Set Name”?
If this is not appropriate, could you please advise which variation theme would be correct for grouping these two products?
Thank you for your guidance and support.

Hello @Seller_oyX12ytobRKfn,
Thanks for reaching out. In the space saver bag category, the only allowed parent/child variations are as follows:
Colour
Weight
ItemPackageQuantity
Material
PatternName
SizeName
SizeName-ColorName
Style
Color
Pattern
color-size
As Set Name is not a valid value, this would be a violation. As one has a nylon strap and one has a leather strap, they do not belong on the same detail page as a variation. This would only be a valid variation if both had the same type of strap. You can read more on variations in this help page.
I hope this information was helpful!
Michelle
