Read onlyI sent in an FBA shipment that was supposed to be delivered to Amazon last week.
I spoke to UPS, who told me that the package is lost.
I contacted Amazon, who said they will not do anything about it until 11/19, which means I would miss ALL of the holiday deadlines.
Why will Amazon not act any sooner if UPS themselves said that the package is lost and to file a claim?
I am a very small business. This was a very large shipment. This will be extremely detrimental to my business to have no items to sell and no revenue for more than 2 months.
Hi @Seller_hohRymUSDSZaI,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums, I'm sorry to hear that this happened!
Typically, Amazon cannot further investigate a shipment until it is in the closed status. A shipment will be closed once Amazon has either confirmed all units received in your shipment against your shipped quantity or your shipment has been open for more than 45 days (domestic shipment) and 75 days (international shipment) since shipment creation, whichever is first.
As much as I wish I could, I am unfortunately unable to expedite this investigation date. Additionally, I do need to wait until that date passes and for the shipment to go through the proper investigation steps before I can potentially escalate this further, if needed.
If you haven't done so already, I would recommend reading through this resource for steps on how to reconcile your shipment. As well as this post about what to do if your FBA shipment is lost or delayed.
Now, if this is not resolved after that investigation, please reach back out to me in this thread so I can assist further! In the meantime, please let me know if you have any additional questions.
All the best,
Jameson
