USPS website glitch or?

In the past 2 weeks , Buyers who are checking their tracking are getting the following message on the USPS.com website : “Label Created , Not Yet In The System”

At first, I was using lots of time writing to apologize and explain that Media Mail is estimated , not guaranteed etc,

Then , I went to my Post Master to do an Internal Investigation only to find that the website now claimed that the item had been delivered .

Then , I became aware of this : https://fox13now.com/2018/12/05/postal-workers-claim-usps-forces-them-to-falsify-package-delivery-reports/

Huh ? What to believe ?

I fill my orders and take them to the Post Office ASAP , and I have very little transparency as to where they actually are :frowning: , so, it’s hard for me to console my Buyers

Take it to the top with the USPS. Going through channels does not often get answers. Sometimes you have to start at the top, in this case with the Postmaster General with copies to the chair of both the Senate and House oversight committees that are responsible for the USPS. You know what is said about s**t flowing downhill.

The USPMGs, as a rule, hate being made aware of problems. Their office does everything in their power to keep things from going that far. True, the PMG himself will never see your complaint but his office will take action. Managers of the various departments and local postmasters really dislike it when headquarters is made aware of their shortcuts and inconsistencies with both law and regulation. They want to keep both the USPS Inspector General and the Postal Inspectors out of their respective offices.

Like I said earlier in this missive, copy your complaints to the proper oversight committees in Congress. The Postmaster General appears before them several times each year and hates it when things that should be dealt with at the lower levels of management are brought to his attention. That is embarrassing and action is often taken quickly.

“Label Created , Not Yet In The System” and a news article about fake delivery scans are two completely different things.

The first means you did not even get a first acceptance scan. There is no proof USPS even has the package until this happens.

Def not amazon, def USPS. We have one, not media mail, from two months ago, buyer did receive it. Tracking says only label created.

Which will get counted against you for late delivery.
