Has anyone lost their Handmade brand name in Amazon search results?
Hi everyone,
I'm a long-time Amazon Handmade seller, and while looking at search results recently, I noticed something strange.
My listings no longer show the brand/artisan name in search results the way they used to. Some Handmade sellers still have their brand name displayed, while others don't.
My listings are still set up correctly, the brand information is populated, the products are classified as Handmade, and everything appears normal on the product pages.
The reason I'm concerned is that I've also experienced a significant decline in visibility and sales, so I'm trying to determine whether the two could be related.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Was it a catalog issue or just a search display change?
Did Handmade Support provide any explanation?
Did you notice any impact on traffic or sales?

I typed Necklace on the Handmade page and saw many items that show the mixed results like the screenshot you shared.
I have not noticed this with my items, but I don't search for them often.

I am noticing the same thing- most listing seemingly do not have the brand name at the top- only a handful do. I am assuming its because those brands have gone through brand registry. ANd those that have not had their name removed from the thumbnail. Although- thankfully, when I search my brand name, my listings do populate, and also my brand name is still at the top of my listing page.

This is slowly happening to all Handmade shops
You have to go through the new brand registry and start all over again. The problem is they are also officially requiring you to be "trademarked" in-order to keep your brand.
Why I'm upset is that we were never notified of any of this during the handmade transition and now the handmade dept help is also gone. Check out the handmade Hub - It has not been updated since March 2025.
