🌸 Big Spring Sale: Get Your Campaigns Ready in 3 Steps
Hi Sellers!
Big Spring Sale starts in just a few days. Whether you sell home goods, fashion, electronics, or seasonal products, the right actions during and after the event can significantly impact your results. This post walks you through what to do now to maximize your advertising performance.
📊 Quick Poll: Are your campaigns ready for Spring Deal Days?
- Already prepared → React with 👍
- Still planning → React with 👎
Phase 1: During the Event (Monitor & Adjust) 📊
Monitor every 1-2 hours - CPC and competition can fluctuate during peak shopping hours. Check Campaign Manager regularly for out-of-budget alerts. Track clicks, conversions, and ROAS in real-time.
Adjust for CPC spikes - Be prepared for CPC increases during peak hours. Use dynamic bidding strategies to stay competitive.
Use Budget Rules to maintain visibility - If your campaigns frequently run out of budget during the event, consider applying schedule-based budget rules to automatically increase your daily budget during the event period. This helps ensure your ads stay visible throughout the day when shopper demand is highest.
Quick decision guide:
- Budget running out before noon → Increase daily budget by 20-30%
- High impressions but low clicks → Optimize product images and titles
- High clicks but low conversions → Check pricing and product detail page
Prioritize products with deals or coupons - Big Spring Sale is all about deals. Focus your advertising on products with deals or coupons. This approach of combining deals with advertising can help open up more opportunities for shoppers to discover and purchase more of your products.
Products with deals or coupons that were advertised with Sponsored Products saw an average 12X increase in sales, compared to similar products with deals or coupons that were not advertised.*
Phase 2: After the Event (7–21 days after) 🎯
Continue advertising to new customers - Lower post-event CPCs may create cost-effective opportunities to reach shoppers who discovered your brand during the event.
Cross-sell complementary products - Promote related items to customers who made purchases during the event using Sponsored Products campaigns.
Track New-to-Brand metrics - Monitor long-term value of customers acquired during Big Spring Sale. Use these insights to calculate ROI and continue engaging new customers with follow-up campaigns.

📊 Quick Poll: Are you planning to pay your taxes and stop ruining the world?
Already realized your prominent role in the ongoing erosion of mankind's well being?→ React with 👍
Still laughing at the irony of your company being named after a precious natural resource that is necessary for the well-being of the planet?→ React with 👎
Quick decision guide:
Worried about the availability of public resources like electricity and water? → Increase data center usage by 20-30%
Worried that unchecked, ultra-consumerism can't keep increasing forever? → Who cares, as long as you exploit the environment, small communities and the economy TODAY
Worried about the negatives of your immense environmental impact?→ Continue peddling cheaply made, disposable junk that goes straight to the landfill
📅 Plan Ahead for More Spring Opportunities
Continue to donate to political leaders of all stripes and fund whoever is currently in power. Who it actually is doesn't really matter, of course, as long as you give millions upon millions of dollars to whoever is in charge at the moment. That way you can ensure that the government will stay out of your affairs and continue to give you unchecked dominion over global commerce.

First of all, this is not meant snarky or disrespectfully.
I have noticed that many of the threads started by MODS are not always met with great enthusiasm by the members of these forums.
I believe it is likely because they rarely address the biggest problems and questions faced by sellers on this platform.
I respectfully ask for an open Forum period addressing our actual concerns that are expressed daily on these forums.
You could start with our most recent issue: DD+7.
Many of us have questions about this new, and concerning policy.
Having a Moderator ready to specifically answer questions about this and other real concerns would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, if you do open a Q&A about this or another pertinent subject, sticking with it and actually answering the questions would be ideal.
Respectfully

Are the Prime discounts or the discounts for everyone during Big Spring Sale considered a deal? Will those get the badge? Thank you!
Seller_Y262O9Ep3I1RD
Sure. we will be sure to spend thousands on ads so you can feature our competitors underneath us for less money.
Seller_IXcImPWAlnjOk
I say in protest to the DD+7 unfair crappy policy, All 3rd party sellers should, anyway they can, not participate in this big spring sale. Amazon gets to look good and sell all these items promoting their site and deals while the ones actually selling it have to wait 14+ days to see the money while they get all their seller and advertising fees right on time.

URGENT: FBA Returns Mishandling Destroying My Business – $91k+ Direct Losses + $2M+ Future Revenue Gone, Suppliers Leaving, Need Executive Escalation NOW Hey Amazon Seller Executives, Seller Support Leadership, and fellow sellers, I’m escalating this publicly because standard support has completely failed me for months on a systemic FBA nightmare that’s costing me everything. Amazon is routinely misclassifying customer returns, forcing unsellable/damaged units back into my inventory as “sellable” (or slapping “customer damaged” with zero proof), keeping all the resale value and fees, while charging me the full refund. This is straight-up gross negligence, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment. This thread is a legitimate, evidence-based escalation of an unresolved FBA dispute under the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement (BSA). Amazon is contractually required to address it and has no valid basis under the contract or forum rules to remove or ignore it. Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing (Washington Law Governing the BSA) Washington law (which governs the BSA) imposes an implied duty of good faith and fair dealing in every contract. This means Amazon cannot act in a way that destroys or injures the seller’s right to receive the benefits of the agreement—including fair return processing and the ability to escalate legitimate disputes. Deleting this thread while the underlying claim remains unresolved would be bad-faith conduct that prevents the seller from pursuing the remedies the BSA itself provides (including binding arbitration under Section 20). The pattern across my account is massive and documented: 81 cases labeled SELLABLE even though the return reason screamed customer damage, defect, or switcheroo. 255 cases marked “unit returned to inventory” where the customer reason clearly indicated damage/defect/switcheroo. 33 confirmed SWITCHEROO cases still marked sellable and retained/resold by Amazon. Dozens more defaulted to “customer damaged” with no photos, no inspection reports, no evidence whatsoever — even after I repeatedly requested proof. Amazon has kept the resale revenue on all of these while hitting me with the full $91,535.97 in refunds, plus storage, disposal, handling, and removal fees. Support just keeps sending boilerplate “60/120-day window” replies and ignoring the full list I’ve submitted multiple times. This is not a one-off — it’s widespread, and it’s killing my business. Beyond the $91,535.97 direct hit, here’s the real damage: Complete loss of business momentum — I can’t restock anything , my account health is taking a beating. Lost future revenue now projected at over $2 million — without inventory and supplier support I’m watching entire product lines die. This isn’t theoretical; it’s already happening. Additional related losses: storage/disposalfeesoninventoryInevershouldremoval orders that were never delivered (no tracking proof), skyrocketing FBA, and the time/mental drain that’s pulled me away from growing the business. Reversal of every related fee (storage, disposal, FBA handling, removal orders). Written explanation of exactly how these misclassifications happened and concrete fixes so it stops for every seller. Compensation for the consequential damages: loss of business, supplier relationships destroyed, and the $2M+ in projected future revenue now gone. I have full spreadsheets, return reports, screenshots, and evidence ready. This has gone on long enough. Amazon’s own policies and the Seller Agreement require accurate inspection and proper reimbursement for unsellable returns — you are not meeting that obligation. I neex this fixed within 3 business days by someone with actual authority, We the SeSellers Are tied of this Evidence of Widespread issues Seller Forum – "Customer Damaged WideSpread Loss and Destroy" (Apr 2024): Seller analyzed 2,000+ returns since 2021; Amazon marked 38% as customer damaged vs. only 0.05% where they admitted fault. "This is not a coincidence… Amazon is intentionally marking items Customer Damaged to avoid paying reimbursement and then destroying the items so they cant be reviewed." No photos or evidence provided in 99% of cases. Seller Forum – "Amazon Fulfillment Errors Costing My Business Thousands" (Feb 2025): 23 units labeled "customer damaged" despite clear fulfillment-center damage. Seller demanded $19k+ reimbursement; Amazon refused and shifted blame. Seller called it "gross negligence" with missing inventory on top. Reddit r/AmazonFBA – "Amazon Defrauding Sellers Systematic With Return...": Multiple sellers report post-holiday returns routinely marked "customer-damaged" with no inspection proof. "Unfortunately, this pattern is pretty common… Amazon reimbursement approval [denied]." Seller Forum – "FBA orders RECEIVED Damaged by customers but later..." (Dec 2025): Numerous returns damaged in transit/FC but all declared "Customer Damaged." "All those orders were damaged, but no reimbursement… Amazon declared many of such returns as 'Customer Damaged'." Reddit r/FulfillmentByAmazon – "What has been your experience with return fraud/abuse...": Sellers report Amazon denying all "customer damaged" reimbursements even on obvious switcheroos/fraud. "Amazon would deny reimbursements… claiming they did not reimburse for customer damaged products." Seller Forum – "Uncovering a Potential Issue with Amazon's Return..." (Aug 2024): Returns initially labeled "Customer Damaged" then silently reclassified without notice or reimbursement. Seller flagged it as a "serious and potentially widespread issue." Reddit r/FulfillmentByAmazon – "Customer purchased and returned my product 8 times...": Repeated abusive returns all marked customer damaged despite clear fraud. Sellers note Amazon auto-applies the label to avoid liability. Seller Forum – "customer destroys backpack, returns to amazon..." (May 2025): Customer completely destroyed item; Amazon still marked customer damaged, issued full refund to buyer, and gave seller zero reimbursement. Multiple replies confirm this as standard (and unfair) policy abuse. Reddit r/FulfillmentByAmazon – "Does Amazon no longer reimburse us when customers...": Long-running complaint that "Customer Damaged" is never reimbursable even when damage occurred after Amazon received the return. Sellers call it a built-in loophole that benefits Amazon. Seller Forum – "Customers are abusing sellers" (Feb 2025): Counterfeit/switcheroo returns routinely labeled "customer damaged" instead of fraud. "Most counterfeit returns are not flagged as 'switcheroo,' but instead labeled as 'customer damaged.'" Sellers demand Amazon stop shifting liability. The official Seller Forum Guidelines state the forums exist to help sellers “connect with other sellers, access Amazon partner teams, and find answers to your business questions.” Moderators only remove content that violates specific prohibitions (harassment, spam, solicitation, disclosure of confidential buyer data, etc.). This post contains none of those. It is a factual account of an active Case ID, supported by data the seller has already submitted through official channels. Amazon’s own moderators have repeatedly confirmed in public threads that legitimate escalation and policy-discussion posts are protected and are the exact reason the forums exist. Amazon must provide a substantive response from an executive with authority (not boilerplate support replies). The BSA does not allow Amazon to block or delete the seller’s lawful attempt to enforce its rights under the very agreement both parties signed. This thread complies 100% with forum rules and the BSA. Any removal or continued silence would breach the contract and the implied covenant of good faith.

Why would you want to grow your business right now when Sellers are not being paid? Advertising fees come out of the top, which pushes the new DD+7 payment even further down the road. I just don't see the ROI of advertising right now, given the compensation is zero.

I'm looking for a solution regarding my blocked account. I've created several threads on the forum and tagged you, but no one is responding. Could you please help me?
They haven't reactivated my account even though I've sent all my purchase invoices. I source all my products from authorized distributors.
Can you help me?
