Hello,
I have submitted a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) that I believe is complete and accurate per the listed requirements. However, after review, the status is "Not classified: Unable to classify." I have reached out to Seller Support, but I have been directed back to the same documentation.
I would appreciate further assistance with this issue.
My support ID is 17278458611.
Hi @Seller_HA5avxUlgxDSN,
In the "What are the most common reasons an SDS is rejected?" section at Manage dangerous goods classification FAQ, Amazon mentions several key points to check in your SDS:
The product names need to match exactly - the name on your SDS should be identical to what appears on your Amazon detail page. If you've edited your detail page recently, you'll need to resubmit the SDS.
They also look for consistency between sections - for example, if the hazard identification section indicates a product is flammable, the transportation section should reflect this too.
Additionally, the "Requirements and FAQ" page at Requirements and FAQ for the sale of chemicals highlights that pictograms in section 2 need to align with the hazard statements in that same section.
Here's what you might want to try:
The good news is that reviews typically happen within 2 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays), so you should hear back fairly quickly.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
Hi @Seller_HA5avxUlgxDSN,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! So happy to see that you have received helpful insights and guidance from @Seller_i6S8knzW6zU6Z (thank you so much, MH_quantifiedmarkets!)
I just took a further look into your case 17278458611 and see that four days ago, Seller Support had informed you that the ASINs have now been classified. Can you please confirm with me, is everything all resolved here?
If you need additional assistance with this process, please let me know!
All the best,
Jameson
