What is wrong with Amazon?
OK, so we have a new seller central interface (for the Umpteenth time) I log in to my account and what is the first thing I see? CRITICAL EVENT! CRITICAL EVENT! Oh my god! What has happened? "You have an order" Really? Seriously? They couldn't say something like: attention needed, or action required? No, it has to be CRITICAL EVENT! CRITICAL EVENT! Someone bought something. One of these days the critical event is going to be Amazon giving someone a heart attack

You must be new here. ;-)
This unlucky seller got an after-hours email with an accusation of selling child pornography when Amazon's bots-gone-wild got confused by some automotive air filters.
The relentless flow of false alerts and needlessly alarming, cattle-prod emails are just another embodiment of the Meat-Grinder Rule.

I had one not long ago that said "CRITICAL EVENT" then when I clicked it all it said was 'confirm your identity" and all I had to do was read over everything and click "no changes". I see so many people getting suspended or deactivated for stupid reasons that I really did nearly have a heart attack.

It's not accidental. It's a way of turning the knife while maintaining an innocent profile. Just like the payment notices that changed some time ago to "disbursement attempted". They know exactly what they are doing.

Let me count the ways: Fair Pricing Bot, Child Safety Certificates (major products that Amazon sold), Draconian Account Health, Incompetent Seller Support, Delayed Payments (DD+7), ....
Bottom line: Amazon is a very exploitive place for 3P sellers and getting worse everyday.
