Hello,
I could use some help from a mod with how to deal with a Restricted Products Policy Violation.
One of my products was taken down with this violation, with the description stating "This product has been identified as a Light Emitting Diode (LED) headlamp conversion kit and/or a headlight assembly." The problem is my product is a set of headlights that don't convert anything. You simply bolt them in place of your old headlights and use your old, stock bulbs with the new headlight assemblies.
However, when I try to explain this in the appeal, along with providing photos and descriptions of the assemblies and types of bulbs used, I just get the same copy-pasted answer stating what the violation is and that I need to provide sufficient evidence proving the violation is wrong, with no explanation given for what constitutes "sufficient evidence." Seller support was equally unhelpful and each conversation with them ends the same way, with them copy-pasting the same answer.
I'd very much like to know what exactly is required of me so I can properly address this violation.
Thank you very much

Hello @Seller_p39z4oOnYKown,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a restricted product.

As you mentioned this concern surrounds our LED policy, I have taken a look over your case and provided screenshots. Understanding how frustrating it can be to receive the same information, I wanted to help offer some clarification on why the ASIN may have been identified and what would need to be corrected. When reviewing your case I found this was in regards to the ASIN : B0BXQ5JZ9S.
The first major concern is the title of your listing:
The title alone advertises an LED signal tube, this in conjunction with product images, special features, light source also advertising LED. If this product is only a replacement bulb, you would need to ensure your product detail page and images have been fully updated to reference only the replacement bulb or identify a new ASIN that more accurately represents your product.
Once the listing has been updated to accurately reflect that this is a replacement bulb with a filament rather than being an LED, you will need to use the same mentioned case ID, share pictures of all 6 sides of your product and packaging including top, bottom, left, right, front and back sides. This will help our team confirm your products and listing details meet our requirements prior to reactivation and resolution.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
